Our Vision

Our vision is one in which the staff, community and students work together to encourage responsibility, integrity and an enthusiasm for learning. We truly believe that "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" as we all work together to make decisions that are good for children. There are high expectations for academic achievement coupled with a school wide effort to support all children who are not meeting standards. Parent involvement is high and the culture at Foothill Oaks is positive and productive.

Sami's Circuit at Foothill Oaks

Sami’s Circuit was an upbeat, energetic exercise event created by Sami Kader, a long-time fitness expert. The event included a high-energy, age-appropriate music mix with sound and lightning effects. Its purpose was to promote self-confidence and encourage positive outlook using fitness and health.

During the visit, Sami kicked off an assembly to get the students excited about fitness and returned the next day to lead a fitness circuit. It was a blast for all students with lots of jumping, lunging, jumping-jacks and push-ups.

Please ask your child what he/she learned during the circuit and how you can incorporate it at home.

Sami is scheduled to be back on April 10th for a Family Event Night. We hope to see you there!

Check out his website if you would like more information about his approach at http://www.samikader.com/samis-circuit/
