District News & Information
Safety Alert: Social Media Threats
The Twin Rivers Unified School District Police Department and local law enforcement agencies are closely monitoring social media in light of a recent wave of posts locally and nationwide warning that clowns may show up at schools threatening to do harm.
Today we were informed of posts mentioning our district. Posting threats toward a public school is a felony offense, and we do not take these threats lightly. Twin Rivers officers are actively patrolling all school sites as a precautionary measure.
The safety of our students and staff is a top priority. In the event of any suspicious activity in or around our schools, please contact the TRUSD Police Department at (916) 566-2777. Thank you for your continued support of Twin Rivers schools.
