Urgent: All Twin Rivers schools and District offices will be closed on Friday November 16 due to persistent unhealthy air quality conditions.

We have monitored air quality conditions the entire week, keeping our students indoors during recess, P.E. and after school programs, based on recommendations from Sacramento County Public Health and the Sacramento Air Quality Management District.

Closing our schools is not a decision we take lightly, but one that has been made after careful consideration and continuous monitoring of the air quality today, which is getting worse. Our top priority is the safety and health of our students and staff. Air quality began to reach near hazardous levels this afternoon, with little indication it will be better Friday.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging and unprecedented situation and we ask that you limit your child’s outdoor activities until air quality improves.

All Twin Rivers schools will resume their normal schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018. Please remember that elementary parent conferences and secondary teacher professional development days are scheduled on November 26 and 27.

Three Cheers for Foothill Oaks Students, Teachers and Staff

Foothill Oaks School was recognized during a School Board meeting.

We were recognized for exceeding District's average on the annual state tests (SBAC) in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. Keep up the hard work Foothill Oaks wolves. You rock!

We would like to give a shout-out to Maurices of Rocklin for adopting our school through the adoptaclassroom.org website.

Maurices is a leading specialty women's clothing store with over 900 locations throughout the USA and Canada.

We were awarded a $100 check to purchase needed supplies for classrooms.  We are grateful to receive this award in order to support our school with extra supplies that we may not normally be able to purchase.

We encourage parents and community members to visit the web site and donate at https://adoptaclassroom.force.com/donors/s/
